All PhD researchers now selected
The openGTN project is happy to announce that all 3 ESRs have now been selected. ESR1 who will investigate MRI segmentation will start 1 October 2018.
Two PhD researchers started today
On 1 July 2018 PhD researchers Aymen Ayaz and Sina Amirrajab started their 4-year research project on MRI simulation.
Aymen will focus on MRI simulation of the brain and spine, whereas Sina will focus on MRI simulation of the heart.

Vacancy: early-stage researcher on MR image segmentation using machine learning
The openGTN project still has 1 vacancy for an early-stage researcher on the development, optimization and validation of MR image segmentation methods using machine learning. The aim is to develop methods that are insensitive to the specific image contrast, and insensitive to patient and scanner variations. Simulated MRI data with ground truth annotations will be used to support the image segmentation research.
The vacancy is meant for persons with an MSc degree not older than 4 years, who have not lived/studied/worked in the Netherlands for more than 12 months in the 3 years before starting employment at Medical Image Analysis group (IMAG/e) of the Eindhoven University of Technology.
Please apply here.
Vacancies ESR2 and ESR3 closed, ESR1 still open
The openGTN project will host 3 Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs):
ESR1: MRI segmentation using machine learning and simulated MRI data (vacancy still open)
ESR2: MRI simulation of the brain & spine (vacancy closed)
ESR3: MRI simulation of the heart (vacancy closed)
For more information see the vacancy description on the website of the Eindhoven University of Technology.
